St Anne's Ambassadors 2025-26
St Anne's Ambassadors are here to support others in their faith journeys, to enable them to grow and develop their spiritual life across the school. They will meet up regularly with Mrs Jones to plan whole school assemblies and consider other ways in which they can promote spirituality, mindfulness and reflection in school.
The Role of St. Anne's Ambassadors
- This role is to support the Catholic mission of the school, whilst also celebrating the other faiths that are represented in school.
- Pupils wishing to join the St Anne’s Ambassadors must write a letter of application to the Mrs Jones stating why they would make a good St Anne’s Ambassador. However, we will be keeping some of the pre-existing ambassadors.
- The group meets at least once fortnightly.
- Pupils share responsibility with adults for running meetings and keeping a record of the meetings.
- Minutes are to be displayed on our St Ambassadors board.
- Reports of meetings are made available to the Board of Governors.

What we have accomplished so far
- Planned ‘Prayer and Liturgy’ for the whole school for various feast days during the academic year.
- Planned lunchtime Prayer and Liturgy for children who would like to attend a prayer and Liturgy sessions voluntarily during specific times of the year: November for those who have lost someone they loved; Advent; Lent
- Provide opportunities for the children to participate in the rosary during the months of October and May.
- Increased their own knowledge of scripture and prayer.
- Created and distributed class prayer bags for children to take home on a daily basis to pray with their families during specific times of the liturgical year: advent, lent.
- Planned ‘Prayer and Liturgy’ for the whole governors meetings.
- Created the Friendship certificates, which are given out weekly. The winners are chosen by the children in their class.
- Organised fundraising for the various charities, including Caritas, CAFOD.
- Organised a collection of various items to send to Ukraine.
- Have supported the classes in collecting tor their class charities.
- Chosen children weekly to award British Values certificates: Democracy, Rule of Law, Respect and Tolerance, and Individual Liberty.

Next Steps
- To work towards achieving the “Faith In Action” Pin Award.
- To further develop the spirituality and prayerfulness of the school community by creating prayer stations, with all key stages, once every half term.
