All public authorities, including schools, are required under the Freedom of Information Act to adopt a publication scheme that has been approved by the Information Commissioner.
There is currently one approved model publication scheme, which has been produced by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Schools must adopt the ICO’s model scheme and make it publicly available.

Publication Scheme and Freedom of Information
The publication scheme lists the information that the school publishes and is available under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. To see our Freedom of information policy please click here.
One of the aims of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 is that public authorities, including all schools, should be clear and proactive about the information they make public.
Our publication scheme sets out:
The classes of information which we publish
The manner in which the information will be published and whether the information is available free of charge or on payment
Some information that we hold may not be made public, for example personal information
This publication scheme conforms to the model scheme for schools approved by the Information Commissioner.

Information published on our website is free to view. Paper copies of information covered by this publication are provided free to parents if requested.
Privacy Notice
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), we are required to provide certain information to data subjects (the people we hold information about). This is normally through a through a privacy or ‘fair processing notice’. Our privacy notice tells you what data we collect, why, how we will store it and how long we will keep it. You have the right to withdraw permission for some information we hold about your child and yourself. We provide an opportunity at least annually to review this data on the ‘Data Collection’ form sent out at the start of each academic year, but you can request to see or make changes at any time by contacting the school office.
