Our School Day
Children are expected to be present on the school premises five minutes before school starts in both morning and afternoon. Parents are asked to ensure, if possible, that their children do not arrive on the premises before 8.30 am.

1.00pm - 3.15pm

Our St Anne’s EYFS curriculum has been created so that the nursery and reception year complement each other. We have worked with subject leads in our school to ensure that we are providing an EYFS curriculum that equips our children with the knowledge as skills needed to access each phase of learning. This curriculum endeavours to enable Nursery children to access the reception curriculum and reception children to be ‘year 1 ready’. Seesaw will act as a two-way communication system, allowing parents to share insights and observations about their child’s learning at home. This supports the Early Years Framework’s emphasis on working together with parents to understand and support children’s learning.
Our Classroom
Our classroom is a safe and welcoming environment. Our classroom is hive of activity where learning happens through play and interactions. We have a range of continuous provision areas such as the home corner, reading corner, small world, block play as well as many more. We value the work that the children do. Each child has their own display learning square with a picture of them with their name. The children contribute to what their would like to display on their learning square and take real pride in celebrating their successes.
Outdoor Area
Outdoor play is very important to us at St Anne’. We encourage children to play outdoors what ever the weather. Outside we encourage louder, bigger and messier play. Offering children different experiences than they can have indoors.

Video: Talk to each other when you're out and about
Watch dad talk to his daughter about what they see and hear on their journey to the park. He mimics the sounds of what he sees and gets his daughter to join in too.

Watch mum being led by the child’s book interests during reading time. She reads familiar books so her son can anticipate what’s coming next.
Tiny Happy People
A collection of fun learning activities and things to do with children 4-5 years. Our collection of fun and creative games for pre-schoolers will help develop their language and communication skills.
