Spellings

Please ensure your child logs onto Spelling Shed at least three times a week to help reinforce their weekly spelling practice. A new spelling list will be assigned each week in preparation for the following week’s learning. Regular practice at home really supports progress and helps build confidence with spelling patterns and rules. We encourage you to go over the spellings with your child and make it a fun, consistent part of your weekly routine.

Reading books

Reading books and library books are changed every Wednesday. Please ensure your child brings their books and reading diary to school on this day. We ask that you read with your child at least three times a week and sign their diary to acknowledge this. Regular reading at home plays a vital role in developing fluency, comprehension, and a love of reading. Thank you for your continued support in helping your child become a confident and enthusiastic reader.
 

Homework

Every week children will be expected to read and access TT Rockstars and spelling shed. Logins have been stuck into diaries. Any additional homework will be set for children who may need extra time or focus on a particular area we have covered that week.
